one grand day i looked up and there was a pregnancy test that read positive. never in my wildest dreams did i imagine that i would end up pregnant at this time! freshly divorced and laid off, this is my pregnancy (and soon to be motherhood) story. everyday i learn more about myself and want to become even greater for my budding baby girl!

guess what mama finally did?
yep, the “nursery”! it’s not an official nursery because she and i sharing a room but i finished her area today!
i put up some polka dot wallies and chalk board. i figured i could use the chalkboard to track her feedings and diaper changes so my mom could see them as well. she has hat boxes filled with little toys and pacifiers. her diaper bag is packed and almost ready to go.
i REALLY want a rocking chair. partly because i really like them but because they also seem standard for babies lol. on the wall i hung her quilt that was made for her by her nanny harper. right now i have her bassinet in the place that i’ll be putting her crib at. but inside her bassinet is a blanket that my friend terri gave me (it’s so soft!) and some of the stuffed animals that i’ve been given for her. oh, and the build-a-bear that i made her!
clearing out this area was some hard work but she’s worth it! i can’t wait to bring her home!
